With two former prosecutors and a former judge at Silver & Collins, we get asked to handle criminal matters quite a bit. We are somewhat selective in what matters we choose to take on in this area of law principally because matters of this type can often have life-altering results and so when we decide to handle a criminal defense, we take it very seriously. We understand people make mistakes and we also understand sometimes law enforcement makes mistakes. We know the local criminal justice system players and how to navigate within that system to get results that are fair. Very often our defense results in our clients obtaining non-criminal dispositions and sealed records so that they can get on with their lives and back to being law-abiding, productive members of their community.
